Well it may seem strange to say this, but I had two long-ish meetings yesterday which I enjoyed – for different reasons!

The first was with Stuart Rivers, CEO of the Sailors’ Society and David Kenwright, our chair of trustees for the Aberdeen Seafarers Centre. Very constructive and helpful couple of hours discussing our future engagement… More details after our next trustees meeting in April.

The other meeting was in Kemnay… with a lovely group of ladies who had invited me to share about the work of “the Mission.” An enthusiastic group, the listened to me sharing my life story and about my ministry to seafarers, before we enjoyed a cuppa and chat then posed with the many Woolly Hats that had been knitted by two groups… Many thanks for an enjoyable Time. (A report of my visit will be published in theĀ Inverurie Advertiser!)

I had hoped to visit a retired seafarer who lives in Kemnay afterwards, but the ladies told me that they knew him, but that he had moved home – I only had his old address, so unfortunately had to settle for leaving a message on his answering machine!
