The Gurkha Chef Nepalese restaurant (in the old Fishermen’s Mission) on the corner of Palmerston Road and Market Street have been closed for 6 months having a complete overhaul and is now ready to serve you some fantastic food!
Best of all, on Wednesday the 15th of June to mark the opening of the restaurant, they are giving 25% to charity… that is us – Aberdeen Seafarers Centre!! So go have some good food and bless us in the process!!
Their web page is here: http://gurkha-chef.com/ This is what they say on their web page:
Gurkha Chef Restaurant is the first Nepalese restaurant in the North East of Scotland. We present you a large selection of our regional dishes that have been carefully blended to give you the authentic taste of Nepalese and Indian cuisine. In order to retain our unique flavour, we use fresh spice and herbs in our dishes so that you can enjoy the food without losing its taste. We hope that sampling this cuisine will not only be an enjoyment, but also an experience that you will never forget !!!
The owners are really friendly and the food is excellent – we have used them for our Volunteer Evenings when they delivered food for 20 people, it was promptly scoffed and enjoyed by all!
Do mention that you saw this on our web page…
Enjoy your meal!
